What to do after storm damage to your roof

Stay off the roof

Limit the damage inside
Move belongings away from leaks and catch drips. Switch off electrics near water if it is coming through a ceiling.
Record the damage
Take clear photos from the ground and inside. They help with an insurance claim.
Get the roof made safe
An emergency repair can make the roof safe and prevent further damage while a full repair is planned.
