Roof repair or full replacement?

Most roof problems start small. Whether a repair is enough depends on what is causing the problem and how much of the roof is affected.

When a repair is usually enough

A few slipped or cracked tiles, a damaged ridge, or failed flashing around a chimney can often be put right without replacing the whole roof, as long as the rest of the roof is sound.

When replacement is worth considering

If the covering is failing across the roof, if repairs keep coming back, or if the roof is at the end of its life, patching can stop being the sensible option.

Get the cause found first

Water often shows up a long way from where it gets in. A proper inspection finds the cause, so you pay for the right fix.
